I am thrilled to bring you the this conversation I had recently with Sonya Goddy a 1/3 Splenic Projector just in time for the eclipse in Libra which is all about reassessing relationships.

Sonya is a writer, director and spirituality enthusiast born in New York City and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, in a house that had a barn in the backyard. Her short films have premiered at festivals worldwide, such as NYFF, TIFF, Palm Springs, Woodstock, and Champs-Elysées, won the Adrienne Shelly Best Female Director Award, and Best Narrative Short at DC Shortsfest. She was a Process guest on the TBM podcast at the beginning of 2024 right before the birth of her daughter (You can listen to that episode here) and is currently putting together a course on short filmmaking while writing several pilots and looking for representation here in LA.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sonya when she booked me to read her Human Design in 2021. Like so many people in my life, we were connected through To Be Magnetic - a topic we touch on lightly throughout our conversation.

In this episode we cover the sticky topic of navigating friendships when they are no longer in service of you. We get into ghosting (and why we don’t think it’s the worst thing that could happen) being in integrity with yourself (and how that is a somatic experience as much as an existential one), what it means to be responsible for your side of the street and so much more!
