“don’t let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy”
I don’t know about you, but my own wheels, they HAVE been making me crazy recently. it’s noisy in here, it’s uncomfortable, it is just generally a LOT.
I saw an IG recently that I didn’t save (and I am not going to look for because I am in burnout currently) which reflected upon how it seems like as a people there hasn’t been this much intense energy since 2020 - and I feel that, I see that. I am LIVING THAT.
OK! LET’S TAKE IT EASY!
Why are we doing this?
Cultivating an inner landscape where you are connected to your body and hearing your signals - reading your body messages - this is the point and the goal of everything with energy work (and why I personally work with Human Design)!!
The point is being in the body, connected to the body, and not letting your mind chatter get in the way and get caught in the not self nonsense.
Louise Hay says this succinctly with her signature phrase, “the point of power is in the present.”
So this is the goal with TAKE IT EASY.
We are noticing: what is blocking me from being present?
Is it stories? Am I constantly in distraction? Am I just constantly seeking relief (again this is the not-self and if you want to get into that, email me and we’ll talk)
What is really happening in my brain and body?
The concept behind Take it Easy is to let life become a meditative process.
Can I identify how many things are a projection and a story?
I was spinning out in my own brain last week when I realized I DON’T HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS THOUGHT AND GIVE IT ANY MORE CREDENCE.
I found myself just absolutely MIRED in a a story and a projection about my career currently and just said to myself, STORY. And let it drop. I moved on for a little bit and then went back into the spiral. When I caught myself spiraling I was like, omgggggggg, STORY!!!!
And so for the rest of Taurus season, I’m focusing on when I’m moving into a story and projection and redirecting myself back into the present moment.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
When we build a foundation to be present, then we can really begin to make and see change because we're fluid and in the moment. (Neo bending time and space to bend around the bullets)
WHAT IF I AM SCARED?
Looking at how much time we’re in story and projection is wild. We do it gently, we do it step by step. Some days you won’t be able to stop the story. Awareness is the first step!
Start by noticing and observing.
maybe label some thoughts.
maybe redirect yourself to your feet and ground into wherever you are currently.
it’s all gravy, bb. even when it doesn’t feel like it. be here now. lets see what can happen when we just focus on being here. right now.
There will be a part two that builds on Take It Easy called Commit to the Bit - but first we have to reset our lil nervous systems and be in our own energy.
