On a whim I googled human design + athletes (LOL, my brain) and up popped this.

SHE HAS NO CONSISTENT ACCESS TO ANY MOTOR CENTER!
NOT ONE!!!!!!
NOT. ONE.
SERENA WILLIAMS! THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME - IS DOING HER MAGIC COMPLETELY THROUGH ACCESSING AND HARNESSING THE ENERGY AROUND HER.
AS IF WE NEEDED ANY MORE REASON TO BE OBSESSED WITH HER GREATNESS.
this has been sitting with me - because WELP - DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I BLAME ON NOT HAVING CONSISTENT ACCESS TO THE SACRAL CENTER???
WELL, THERE GOES THAT EXCUSE.
This is what I love about energy work and interpreting charts - there is not one way that our energy operates. If you read the chart interpretation linked above (from one of my favorite Human Design teachers, Chetan Parkyn) he talks about how Serena is able to use her mental energy to play the strategy so far in advance of her opponents - she is like the ultimate Jedi on the court + all the openness allows her to AMPLIFY the energy around her which means she is UNSTOPPABLE!
She is in tune with her energy and is maximizing her skills. So incredible, so mind-blowing, so badass.
A lot of times when we’re reading about Human Design on IG - it is super prescriptive/formulaic - there’s just not the space for nuance that is the reality of our energy.
We are NOT limited by our energy. We are here to find our natural flow and allow it to take us to our highest heights.
